Preparing for the Holiday Shopping Season!

by Shelly L. Hill

It’s the Holiday Shopping Season so how do you get holiday shoppers to buy from you? Here are some suggestions:

#1. Mystery Holiday Hostess Party! Kick off the shopping season by having a Holiday Mystery Hostess Party at your home! Make sure you have plenty of holiday themed products available for them to see & touch along with a lot of holiday gift ideas! Set up a table with under $20 gifts and then another one for under $5.00 stocking stuffers and so forth! Make sure you set them up in a festive holiday display to get your guests into the holiday spirit! Play holiday music in the background and serve holiday themed refreshments!

Now on your invitations state this is a Holiday mystery hostess party! Everyone who attends gets 1 entry….for each guest they bring they earn another entry! For every $20 they spend they get another entry and for every party they book at this party they get 3 entries! At the end of the party you draw a name…the winner then becomes the Party Hostess! They earn all of the FREE hostess gifts & credits for this party! Its a great way to gear them up for the Holiday season and a great way for you to get sales & party bookings!!!

#2. Hire yourself some Santa Sales Helpers!
Give your friends & family members biz cards and catalogs…have them gather orders for you from their circle of friends, co workers and family….(this works well for those who don’t want to host a party)….then reward them with a FREE thank you helper gift and a discount on their personal order for helping you out!

#3. Hold a open house party for charity! ‘Tis the season for giving! Invite your guests and tell them the profits or proceeds from this party will be donated to such and such charity for the holiday season! This is great to do year after year! A lot of people donate to charity during the holiday season…this way they get something in exchange for their donation!

#4. Buy Holiday Themes Postcards or recycle holiday greeting cards you received the previous year…cut off the backside that contains wording and turn them into postcards to reuse! Mail them out to everyone in your neighborhood letting them know they can shop from you this holiday season instead of fighting crowds at the local mall! If your recycling cards (free) and postage for postcards is a lot cheaper then first class stamps! Its also a GREAT way to introduce newbies in your neighborhood to your home business!

#5. Contact ALL past party hostesses and customers….offer additional incentives for them to hold a party now….make sure you tell them to SAVE their hard earned money and earn their GIFTS for free with a party! For customers….offer them FREE gifts with purchases or discounts! A lot of people are tired of fighting the mall crowds!

#6. Contact all the Senior Citizens or shut-ins in your town/city. Its hard for them to GET OUT and do holiday shopping! Offer them your personalized service! Show them your catalogs….you can even offer gift wrapping service to them! A lot of seniors get depressed at this time of year because they are not able to get out like they want too…so they can be GREAT sources of extra business for you! You are offering a GREAT service for them and they appreciate the companionship too!

#7. Offer gift wrapping and shipping services to your customers for a FEE. Men really like this service!

#8. Print up a Gift Ideas Sheet….section it off into the following sections & include with all your catalogs!
a) Stocking Stuffers under $5.00
b.) Gifts under $10
c.) Gifts under $25
d.) Gifts over $25
e.) DREAM GIFTS (your most expensive items)

Limit yourself to listing ONLY 10 suggestions per each of those categories. You will want to make 3 sections…one for Gifts for the Ladies, Gifts for Men and Gifts for Children!

Customers can use this for ideas in their price range! You could offer an additional special or discount if they purchase items off your Gift Suggestion List!

#9. Offer Fundraisers if available from your business to those who seek out fundraisers at this time of year! A lot of charities hold holiday fundraisers!

#10. Donate items for Holiday Contests! Include a catalog, contact sheet or business card and a discount coupon with the prize you donate!

#11. Donate items to charity! Have a few items left over from a kit or did a customer stick you for payment? Donate it to Charity! Again, include your business card & info with the donation!

#12. Make a mission to leave your contact info & business info with everyone you meet, greet, see, etc., this holiday season! Maybe they don’t need your services right now….but in the future when they do, they will know who to contact!

#13. Make yourself available as much as possible during the holiday season otherwise you could loose business & customers! If you are going to be unavailable leave a automatic response on your email stating when you will be available again….same with your business answering machine & voice mail. Return calls & contacts asap….a delay means your customer could go elsewhere!

#14. Holiday Themed Home Parties! Offer a themed party to your holiday hostesses! One that I love is the Secret Santa Party! Invite all of your gal pals to your secret Santa party…hold your party as normal but tell your guests they are NOT buying for themselves! You have them all write their names down and then each guest draw a name….they then have to buy something from your party for the guest whose name they had drawn. Set a limit for the gift at an economical $15…..of course they can also decide to purchase for themselves too! When the delivery comes in, you wrap the gifts and label them….from their secret Santa…but in with the gift you will put the person who was their secret santa….invite all your guests back for a cookie exchange or a little party….hand out the gifts! When the guest opens their gift they will see who their secret Santa was and they get to keep the gift!

There are a lot of ways to make this Holiday Shopping Season Fun & profitable! Be creative! Don’t offer the same old thing as every one else! Do your own FUN Creative Parties!

Meaning Of Blogging- Important Guide For New Bloggers

by Deepak Kulkarni

If you are searching for information related to what is the meaning of blogging or any other such as paid blog, radio blog club, the best blog site, or PHP web hosting, you have come to the right article. This piece will provide you with not just general meaning of blogging information, but also specific and helpful information. Enjoy it.

As your blog’s jawbones stop protruding with the nourishment of content, you may feel the need to start networking with others. Forums are great to meet others with a similar interest and to get solutions to your problems and to assist others solve theirs.

Hopefully, your blog provides valuable information that keeps readers coming back for more, or even better subscribing to your RSS feed. If you have a “hot topic” that requires more than 1,000 words to get through, consider creating a series. For instance: “Creating a Word Press Blog: Step by Step” could be your series. This could easily be a 10 part series on one topic.

You have your own domain name and web hosting, but you decide to host your blog elsewhere. Why? If your website is www dot com then your blog should be hosted at www dot com. There is no reason for you to use an external blog service. First of all, you are putting the control of your blog in their hands–what happens when they decide to erase it? Believe me, it happens. The second reason this is silly is because you should want to brand yourself and your business. Using another company’s domain is great for their branding, but not yours.

You should not forget that if this article hasn’t provided you with the exact meaning of blogging information, you can use any of the main search engines on the internet, like Ask.com, to find the exact meaning of blogging information you need.

If you want to develop a blog network, your aims will be to develop a mission for the network, as well as a clear idea of where and how you’ll add blogs to the network, and where and how the revenue stream will be built.

Web logging for money is a simple and enjoyable way to build a presence online and make some cash while you’re at it. Actually, web logging for money is the bread and butter of internet marketing currently and there are millions of people making a small fortune doing it.

You can even configure your blog so readers can leave comments and questions about your articles. They don’t have to take the time to send you an email; they can just click on the comments link and post their response right there on the spot. This is one of the easiest ways possible to encourage productive interaction among your prospects and customers.

For your knowledge, we found that lots of people that were searching for what is the meaning of blogging also searched online for popular blog sites, blog server software, and even dog blog.

Building a Sales Team

by Kay Green

BUILDING - Whether you own your own company and produce your own product or are a representative of a direct sales company, building a sales team will allow you to make a greater profit with a residual income on another’s sales. In the business world you make a profit on every item you sell or service you perform. That income is only limited by the number of hours in your day and the contacts you can make. To increase your income on your own sales/services you have to increase your hours or make more contacts. Building a sales team is another way to increase your income residually. Letting income build for you even in the days and hours you are not working or doubling your efforts when you are working by earning a percentage on your sales team members sales.

SELL FIRST - Often times people will start recruiting before they start selling. To be effective, your team members need to see you being successful and receive training from you. Having a solid foundation of your company and products will make recruiting easier. They look to you for guidance. I am not saying do not recruit until you are successfully selling. I am saying that you should not plan to recruit only and not sell. Usually you will make 20-50% profit when selling your products and only 2-5% on your recruits sales. You can see that there is a greater income for your own efforts. So work your business effectively and also recruit those customers who want to join your team to maximize your income.

SHARE - The way to recruit and build a team is the SHARE your message. Your passion and excitement for your company and products will naturally spill over. Some recruits will seem to fall in your lap as you share your enthusiasm. The other key is to ask every contact and customer “Have you ever considered running a successful home business along side your family activities?”. You have now shared the opportunity with them. It is now in their court and up to them. Sometimes they will say “No thank you”. If you offered a friend a piece of cake at your house and she said “No Thank You” you would not be offended. You have given her the choice and she made the best decision for herself. Just because one friend said No, does not mean you never offer cake to your other friends right? You offer it to each person allowing them to make the decisions for them self. Sometimes they will ask a question or need more information. Help them on the path to understanding and again let them decide. Sometimes they will say no with an objection. Listen carefully to see if the objection is a no or simply a need for more information. Sharing your opportunity with a friend is never pushy. Being pushy is not listening to their response or not being happy with their choice.

What friends in your home would you offer the cake too? Everyone there right? Of course you would. Likewise have you asked EVERY person you come into contact with if they want to join your team. If you do not offer it to them, you are deciding No for them. People prefer to be asked than to have their decision taken from them. I have built a sales team of 285 reps in 2 years by offering it to everyone not just a few.

Some reps will say “If I recruit them then I will have too much competition”. I think that is not truth. When I started it was me and 1 product. Now it is me, my sales rep team, 20 products and over 100 other web sites offering my products too. I still get personal orders everyday. Why? There is always room at the top.

Many people in direct sales will not stay with it long enough or will not work their business seriously. Only a few will move to the top by working their business everyday and committing to the long term. Also with 3 billion people on this planet no one person can get to all of them. You can reach people in your community that another person can not. My experience has been, that the reps who are not making sales do not have too much competition, they are not making the 5-10 new contacts a day.

It takes time and effort every day to work a business.

1. Selling and working your business seriously everyday is the first step.

2. Holding events and parties is the second step.

3. Sharing your vision and inviting others to join your team is the third step to a profitable income for your family by working at home.

Six Tips for Effective Website Design

by Chris Coleman

One of the most crucial elements when starting a web-based business is an attractive website design. Your website design is your “storefront.” The worldwide web is your mall. An attractive and well-designed storefront draws mall customers inside. Your website design should do the same for Internet surfers.

Once you’ve drawn your potential customers inside, the key is to keep them there. An effective website design ensures that customers go beyond your home page. Here are a few tips to help you develop a “catch them and keep them” site:

* Avoid website templates. Some e-business owners are tempted to forgo a professional website designer. Instead, they opt to use templates and build a site themselves. The problem with templates is that you’re limited to the parameters of the template. You may be unable to add certain elements to your site’s pages. The end result is a cookie-cutter website design that may not necessarily reflect the individual nature of your business. E-business owners should consider a professional website design as one of the costs of doing business. An eye-catching site generates more profit in the end. Most owners find it is well-worth the investment.

* Visitors like to “see” as well as “do.” A splashy site is just the beginning. Visitors also like websites they can interact with. Include elements that will allow them to feel like they are part of the action. Surveys, comment boards and blogging are a few prime ways to foster customer interaction.

* Use flash player wisely. Flash player can be an effective web-design tool as long as it’s employed thoughtfully. Flash player takes precious seconds (or longer) to download. Don’t force visitors to wait too long to get past your opening page. They may simply give up and quickly log off. Instead, use flash player in other parts of your site (if at all.) This way, visitors can enjoy the flash player aspect of your site voluntarily by clicking on it. If they choose not to, they should still be able to get an idea of what your site is about.

* Be careful with pictures and images. Like flash player, too many pictures can make your pages slow to load. The same is true for larger pictures. Use thumbnails if your site requires a lot of pictures (like a catalog of items for sale.) Your pages won’t take as long to download. Visitors who want to see a larger picture can simply click on the thumbnail. Remember that website visitors are fickle. If a page takes too long to download, they may log off and go elsewhere.

* Keep web pages short. A good rule is to choose more pages over longer pages. Longer pages sometimes get overlooked by search engines. Search engine robots may scan only the first few paragraphs if the pages are very long. No more than 500-1000 words of text on a page is ideal.

* Choose a competent website designer. Your designer should be familiar with search engine optimization as well as website design. Surprisingly, many designers create great-looking sites that end up ranking poorly in the search engines. Search engines don’t care what your site looks like. They rank strictly on content. Your designer should be able to help you create effective content. He or she need not be a writer to do this. A designer should be able to use tags, meta tags and other elements to elicit favorable rankings.

* Test your website designer before hiring. Don’t hand over any money until you’ve visited other sites a designer has created. Then, think like a customer. Are the sites easy to navigate? Are there any broken links? Does every page link back to the other pages on the site? Do the pages take too long to download? Is the design attractive? You may even want to Google some keywords from the site. Does the site rank well? If there are problems with sites a designer has developed, he won’t do much better with yours.

Your website design is critically important to the success of your business. The difference between a mediocre and an effective site may be the difference between boom and bust. The difference between a good website design and a great one may be the number of years sooner that you can retire.

Home Based Business Advertising On A Budget

by Carael Knight

A home based business is usually a small business with a limited advertising budget. As a home business owner, you need to find a way to post business ads without breaking the bank! Here are some proven offline and online marketing tips you can use to promote your home based business opportunity.

First, don’t advertise in the same way that a large business does. Big businesses have branding as one of their main advertising goals. As a small, home based business, your main advertising goal is going to be to make a sale right now. So rather than promoting the name of your business heavily in your ads, make sure that every ad you place has some sort of offer for the customer to buy or sign up for.

A home business, even a computer home based business, needs to be creative with advertising. You might find that in your market, mailings are a good advertising venue. On the other hand, some markets might find that business opportunity classified ads are the most profitable. Whatever works to drive business to your home or website is what you need to do.

Finally, to save money when you are purchasing business classified ads, consider trimming the ad to a smaller size. You can then afford to purchase a longer running time for your ad. Make it succinct, but powerful, and ask for action in the ad. Remember that the longer you run the ad, the more people have the potential to read it and become interested in your home based business!

Home based business pitfalls to avoid

When you run a home based business, you are your own biggest obstacle when it comes to learning how to successfully earn from home. There are many things that home based business owners do that doom their businesses to failure from the beginning. Here are four of the most common mistakes.

Procrastination is the number one killer for the home business owner. Even the most profitable home based business ideas take work, and if you always put off the work, you will fail. You must have a plan in place to keep this from happening, and you must stick to the plan.

Another pitfall that home business owners, particularly beginners, often fall into is spending too much. You have to spend money to make money, but you need to carefully consider what you are spending it on. There are many free advertising ideas out there, so before you fork out the big bucks for Internet advertising, you need to explore more affordable venues.

A third mistake, which seems to counteract the last one, is not spending enough money. You do need to market your business. While there are free options out there, you may need to buy some business advertising as well. Just be careful when choosing what to spend your money on.

The last common mistake that you might make is failing to use targeted advertising. If you are advertising your business well, but in all the wrong places, you will not succeed. Look for advertising venues that allow you to place an ad in a spot where people who are naturally going to be attracted to your product or service are likely to find it. If you avoid these pitfalls, you will grow a profitable business.

SEO: Done Right!

by Andy Morales

Many businesses offer SEO these days. Similar to any other field it should be done professionally and choosing a good creative webmaster can take time. With all of the different types of SEO that exist, it is important to realize that there are many benefits to having SEO done by someone that has a bit of experience and authority on the Internet. Internet marketers know that SEO is like aiming at a moving car, and what used to worked well in the past may not be very effective today. For example, one of the current mediums for advertising has been social bookmarking. This a trend at this time that may not remain the best way to SEO a domain.

You can do SEO yourself if you have patience and would like to promote your own website. You will need to learn some basics of good SEO in order for you to keep from wasting your time. So, if you are looking to start “doing it yourself” keep these points in mind as you develop your plan. First, create unique search engine content. It is vital that you provide fresh content and that your website is search engine friendly. Google provides webmasters tools that you can take advantage of yourself. Even if your new to the SEO arena Google makes sure that have them available and all it takes is a little exploring if you have a gmail acount. It is especially important to read the webmaster guidelines for good SEO.

Also, remember that you don’t have to have a flashy website to get to the top of your keyword rankings. If you have images, be sure your images have alt image tags and use your most important keywords in the alt tag of your favorite html program. Use your keywords as anchor text in links rather than using images. Use your SEO keywords frequently in your page copy. After you have created your copy, and yes you are technically a writer now, you will want to be sure to share it with the world. Google offers the ability to verify if your page has been indexed. Most major search engines will tell you that it may take a few weeks to fully index your site, so be patient.

Linking to other sites is important. You can do this by submitting an article to a free article directory. You must type at least 450 words and use your keywords in your article. Using keywords that are related to your website can give you better ranking due to the keyword density within your article. Linking to your blog is another good way to provide some authority for your domain. You can use many free blog websites such as wordpress.com and blogger.com.

Don’t pay for links because you are lazy. It’s better to buy a program that makes your work easier rather than paying for links of which Google frowns upon.

10 Easy Ways to Get More Links to Your Website

by Michelle Shaeffer

Comment on High Traffic Websites: One great way to not only boost your website rankings but to also increase your visibility and get additional traffic to your website is to post meaningful comments on blogs and websites that are relevant to your website’s products/services.

Specialized Directories: Use the search engines to find trade associations and product directories that you can be listed in. One example is diaperpin.com for cloth diapering websites. You can find good, targeted directories by searching Google. For example, try this: “product name” directory. For example: “cloth diaper” directory or “website design” directory

General Directories: General directories such as dmoz.org and alexa.com are free to request a link from. You may want to consider paid directories on individual basis. Their value for you will depend on your particular business and the type of traffic the directory generates.

Other Directories: Look at local directories such as yahoo.com and msn.com as well as small business directories, environmental/ethical directories, and other similar sites to request listings on. Also check the websites of the retailers/wholesalers you purchase from, the shopping cart or web host you use, and other businesses you work with. Many offer directories of their clients or retailers and you may be able to pick up some links and targeted traffic by being listed.

Article Marketing: Submitting articles you’ve written to article directories can be a great way to get links back to your website. Anyone who publishes you article will link to you in the resource box. My favorite article directory sites are ezinearticles.com and wahm-articles.com

Shopping Websites: A very popular way to shop online is with the shopping directory and product comparison sites like Google Base and Shopping.com. Are your products listed there yet? It’s easier than you might think to get added! Google Base is a great place to begin. Formerly named Froogle, it’s a popular, free, easy to use comparison shopping website from the geniuses who brought us Google. Many popular carts offer a built-in system to upload directly to Google Base, so check with your cart’s support team or site owner. You can also upload your items one at a time or using a spreadsheet: base.google.com

Review Products & Services: Take a few minutes to write honest testimonials for other small or home-based businesses and email them. They are likely to print them on their websites and be willing to include a link to you (I do this if someone sends a testimonial about my ebooks or services, I link to their sites and they get some free promotion).

Blog: Start a blog! It’s a great way to get search engine traffic as well as build a sense of community with other bloggers and to help your visitors get to know you. Be sure to use your Blogroll feature, turn on your RSS and pings, and use social bookmarking plug-ins on your blog.

Social Networking Pages: Websites like MySpace, Facebook, and Ryze allow individuals to connect with others by sharing their interests, opinions, photographs, and whatever parts of their lives they choose. Take some time to explore a bit and see which sites are a good fit for you and reach your target market.

Links from Other Sites: Create a “Link to Us” page and offer visitors both well-written text links and a selection of banner ads to use.

Pick one or two of these ideas and get started! More links to your website means more opportunities to be found, and it will help boost your search engine rankings, too.

The Survival Guide for Affiliate Marketers

by Terry Leslie

Affiliate marketing has become the most popular method of creating a residual online income. However, the reason why it has hit the number one spot isn’t so much that it has the most people participating, because it doesn’t. It is considered the most popular because it is the method of marketing that attracts the most new sign ups in a given period of time.

So, if it doesn’t have the most participants, yet it has the most new sign ups, then this means that those involved in affiliate marketing is likely to experience the “team switching” syndrome. The “team switching” syndrome is nothing more than a label given to those who sign up under an affiliate marketing program, get frustrated, and then sign up with another affiliate marketing programs. When this happens repeatedly, they call it “affiliate team switching.”

“Affiliate team switching” happens because an affiliate program seems more appealing than the one you are currently working with. Generally, these decisions are made on the promotional materials that are received and then once you get into the programs, you discover that it is just much work as the one before that. So, what is an affiliate marketer to do?

First and foremost, once you have gained the understanding that affiliate marketing is work and it requires daily effort, make one final selection. This will be the affiliate program that is right for you based not on ease of income (because they are all pretty much the same) but on other factors. Your next key is applying the three basic survival skills that every affiliate marketer needs in order to be productive online.

The first basic guideline when delving seriously into the land of affiliate marketing is simply promote each individual product on its own unique page and highlight that product as though it was your only one. By listing every product on its own unique web page, you are able to create tags, SEO articles on the site, and index them with Google all while giving that particular product a leg up on those around you who will save a little money on hosting fees and present their website products all on one page.

Create a sense of energy and desire around that product. You can do that through basic testimonials and articles. Testimonials are not hard to get or to come up with. All you really need to do is find three or four people who really loved what you sell and ask their permission to reprint what they have stated about the product online. By the way, it is illegal to make up pretend testimonials.

Articles can be extremely effective in producing web content keywords as well as education for the user. Well written, in point articles are priceless and should never be taken for granted and slapped together without a thorough understanding of how to optimize for search engine results and how to develop an informative and catchy article that readers will want to trade their time to read. In many cases, you can get a lot of fresh and insightful content by hiring a freelance writer. For around $10 per article, you can spruce up your website’s information, attract Google results, and get your affiliate marketing business rocking and rolling.

Making strong use of your autoresponder after a potential client has left your website is hands down the most effective method of bringing that potential back to your website. In fact, many affiliate marketers have seen a dramatic increase in their sales simply by adding strong autoresponder messages. While you want to avoid “selling” them in these messages, you do want to draw their attention to their need for the product and how awesome your product is and what it can do for them. Again, you can hire a writer to create the autoresponder messages if you struggle to create your own powerfully moving messages without selling the product directly.

The more reasons you have to have optional communications with prospective clients, the better. Offer them free reports, an email list option, and other pertinent information that goes along with the product you are selling. Again, since every product you are offering is going to go on a different web page, you should be doing this for every product you have listed, whenever possible.

Every successful affiliate marketer should take the time to publish, or once again hire someone to write the content, numerous articles for e-zine publications, public message boards where appropriate, and article submission sites and press releases to help initiate the contact between your potential client and your website. Article writing once again throws your associated keywords out there into Google’s view and also helps to draw readers in who will then take a look at your website and your product. If you can write your own high quality, content driven, keyword enhanced articles then you are more than likely to drive additional traffic to your website. If you can write them yourself, then write two or three per day while you are building up toward your first one hundred. After your first one hundred hit the internet, evaluate what changes are required before moving on.

This type of dedicated effort can help boost the affiliate marketer into action that can be monitored with results that can be seen. Taking these basic guidelines and sticking with one affiliate marketing plan is the road map to your success

Some Little Known Secrets to Advertising

by Colleen Davis

Advertising is both an art and a science.  Both content and means of delivery can vary widely.  Today’s advertising can entail anything from brochure printing yielding quality full color brochures all the way to the most cutting edge interactive social networking stealth campaign.  There are many tricks of the trade employed by advertisers that have been developed over the years.

The first is associations.  Advertisers seek to associate their product with another non related attractive entity.  This explains the commonality of pretty females in advertisements.  Advertisers seek to associate their product with elements representing success and glamor.  Celebrity endorsers are obviously used significantly to this end.

Another trick is expert association.  We have all seen many commercials with an actor wearing laboratory outfits or other authoritative garb.  Advertisers seek to utilize a facade of a trusted image in order to vicariously gain the viewer’s trust in their product by association.  One must be very careful, though, of any tangible claims made whether by an actual or actor expert.  All must be able to be backed up in reality.

Many advertisers employ optical techniques.  However, the urban legends regarding subliminal advertising using hidden words are mostly untrue.  The full color brochures you receive do not have hidden hypnotic text.  However, the sizing of images and text are highly scrutinized by advertisers to be geared to innate psychological triggers within the human psyche.

The ad copy itself is obviously very important.  Certain words are used often while others are avoided at all costs.  Tonality of given words is analyzed to ensure it creates the right feeling.  There is a deep pool of research behind advertising copy decisions.  Different products require varying pitch types.

Unless the subject matter disallows it, most advertisements seek to entertain.  A commercial with great copy and associations is worthless if it has a boring presentation.  Copy and images only have effect if heard and seen.  To that end, advertisers seek to entertain while effectively delivering their desired message.

Regional cultural preferences must be taken into consideration.  The famous story is the introduction of the Nova car in South America.  The car company failed to realize that “no va” in Spanish means “doesn’t go”.  Needless to say, the Nova was not well received in the local marketplace.  It is imperative that advertisers do localized market research and take heed of regional customs and preferences.

Market research is a needed first tool for all advertisers.  Sophisticated focus group technology now exists, allowing advertisers to gauge response prior to a full scale roll out.  Different tricks work with different market segments.  Deciding which combination of techniques to use for a given product sold in a given locality is a task which often perplexes even the most seasoned ad executives.  When dealing with the human mind, nothing is ever certain.
